The phrase coiled below is rather unusual and not just because it has political overtones.
If you start at the correct letter, and move to a letter, up, down, diagonally, or sideways,
you can read the phrase.
Amazingly, it’s also a palindrome, so you can solve it by finding the last or the first letter!

Andy Dinkin, Successful entrepreneur and Motivational Sales & Networking Speaker, and son-in-law of  W.A.Cline, was our speaker two weeks ago.  Andy presented his Top Ten Rules of successful marketing.  Andy, still in his early 30s,  has already founded and sold two companies, and is working on his third and fourth. A Chapel Hill graduate and football player, he bases many of his successful techniques on the methods of his UNC-CH Football coach Mac Brown.  Andy’s principles are built upon successful networking, preparation, providing value, being creative, learning from mistakes, communication, and embracing technology.

Last week

SNAP Awards & Installation Banquet.  President-Elect Jeff Smith administered a speedy program to the satisfaction of all present!  Mayor Susan Kluttz  with family Bill and Sue were our special guests, and The Mayor was the recipient of the 2002 Citizen of the Year award. Susan follows in the footsteps of her brother Dr John Wear Jr. who won last year.

SNAP  Civitan of the Year award went to Len Clark.  Rookie of the Year will be presented today.  One club Honor Key was awarded,  to Bob Wilson, in recognition of his outstanding service to Civitan over 3 decades. The President’s Spirit Award went to Reid Clement for his exceptional photographic work for the club.

SNAP Curtis Montgomery installed the new board, with an express instruction to your Editor to continue with his “stale English jokes”.  It’s so good to have a mandate.

The names of the 12 countries hidden in the sentences were:- India, China, Latvia, Ireland, Italy, Chile, Thailand, Iceland, Korea, Germany, England, Finland, Bill Palmer and Table got the dozen. (Ed: I said I was countried out, but I’ve now devised a “40” country paragraph.  However, I figured I’d spent so much time on it, it must be worth something – so it’s on the way to the Reader’s Digest.  I’ll let you know if it’s published.)
